Susan Magnier and Michael Tabor’s Duke of Marmalade (Ire) (Danehill) yesterday featured among the 55 horses entered in the Gr1 Juddmonte International Stakes at York on 19 August.

The Thoroughbred Daily News reports that alongside the Gr1 Prix Ganay, Gr1 Tattersalls Gold Cup and Gr1 Prince of Wales’s Stakes winner, Aidan O’Brien also has the Gr1 English and Irish 2000 Guineas and Gr1 St James’s Palace Stakes hero Henrythenavigator (Kingmambo) and last year’s multiple Group 1 winning filly Peeping Fawn (Danehill) among his 22-strong team for the 10 furlong contest.

Also engaged are the Jim Bolger-trained Gr1 Epsom Derby hero New Approach (Ire) (Galileo) and Gr1 Coronation Stakes heroine Lush Lashes (GB) (Galileo), while Godolphin have a sextet headed by the stable star Ramonti (Fr) (Kendor).

Other notables include Sheikh Mohammed bin Khalifa Al Maktoum’s Gr1 QEII Cup winner Archipenko (Kingmambo) from South African trainer Mike de Kock’s barn.
