Founded by the city fathers in 1886, Durban High School is an institution close to Summerhill’s heart, as it produced two of the original founders of Summerhill (as we know it), in Mick Goss, and whilst he was involved, brother Pat Goss. The 6th June witnesses the coming together of DHS graduates of 1968, who gathered here as fourth formers in the Chemistry class of 1966.

The boss, still sporting a bit of hair (!) is fourth from the left. We have a number of old (very old!) DHS boys among our blog correspondents, all of them from a much earlier, and no doubt, envious, era!
