He has been allotted the mammoth impost of 59 kgs however, having reconfirmed his standing as Europe’s premier Stayer, and being unbeaten in three starts this year, including a second consecutive victory in the Ascot Gold Cup (Gr 1). It’s a tall order for any horse to carry 59kgs in a race of any class, but to travel halfway around the world and do it against some of the planet’s premier competitors, makes it a big ask for this fellow, never mind his undoubted class.
