labeebLabeebSunday’s running of the Arlington Matrons Stakes (Gr 2) was a timely tap on the shoulder of the prowess as a sire, of the much lamented Labeeb.  His daughter Ms. Lydonia was a very creditable second on the polytrack surface, once again emphasising the liking of his progeny for the turf (polytrack simulates grass surfaces, apparently).  The first Summerhill-bred crop of Labeeb (15 in all) will strut their stuff at the Ready to Run gallops on 19 October 2007, and from all accounts, they’re racy individuals with great action.  We know you’ll be there to test the statement, so it’s made lightly.
