While we will be providing you with individual details of the horses as time goes by, it’s worth noting for starters, that the draft includes Australian-bred sons and daughters of some of the best stallions in the world, including sons of World Champion Racehorse Fantastic Light; European Champion Hawk Wing, (already the sire of two Stakes winners from his first crop in Europe); two sons of the South American legend, Hussonet; and a colt by last season’s Champion Australian Freshman Sire, Show A Heart.

Remarkably, the fillies include a Hussonet half sister to the Singaporean Horse of the Year of 2007, Why Be (a Group winner of 19 of his 23 starts to date), and amazingly enough, a beautiful-moving daughter of the new American stallion sensation Street Cry, sire of no fewer than twelve Stakes winners from his first crop, including Kentucky Derby hero, Street Sense.

A mouth-watering collection, providing an international flavour to what is by some distance the best catalogue ever presented at the Emperor’s Palace Ready to Run Sale. And remember, this lot will be running for a R1 million stake, restricted to graduates of the sale, in 2008
