Patrick Greenaway’s career milestones are noteworthy: Descended from a long line of Irish farmers, supplier of black bacon to London’s flagship retail store Harrods, 15 years in operations management for the world’s leading soft drink manufacturer Coca-Cola in offices from Brussels to Ireland, Atlanta and Nairobi - and a fair few ports in between - and a successful local farmer.

On 1st February he added another notch in the cv when he joined Vuma as Chief Operating Officer

Patrick’s appointment coincides with two other new team members: the highly credentialed Catherine Hartley who will manage sales in the Gauteng area. Catherine has switched career paths from her role as PR and Accounts Manager at Investec and comes with a great “equine pedigree”. Rowena Moodley is the new voice on the other end of the phone, and will be assisting Kiasha with logistics and general administration. Heather Morkel, meanwhile, has shifted her focus and strengths in client relations to marketing and sales.

“VUMA has greatly benefited from the foundations laid by Heather’s knowledge of horse feed and the needs of the company’s clients,” Patrick says, enthusiastic about the company’s growth in recent years.

“VUMA has the additional advantage of offering highly targeted feed formulations. This is great for our clients.”

VUMA has made significant infrastructure investments  in recent months, and clients can expect not only some exciting product announcements in the coming months but a slew of value added extras to ensure your champions continue to perform at their best, and you have the most up to date and accurate information at your fingertips regarding equine nutrition.

The 30+ team of Vuma staff are committed to one goal: to be the supplier of choice of quality horse feed in Africa.
