Together with representatives from its stakeholders: Western Province Owners & Trainers, Gold Circle, Racing Association and the Thoroughbred Breeders Association, Racing South Africa returns to the hallowed grounds of the UK’s racing headquarters next month.

Racing South Africa has secured a sponsorship package at Newmarke’s Rowley Mile Racecourse from October 12 to 14, 2006, the weekend of the Gr.1 Champion Stakes. This includes the sponsorship of the first Racing South Africa Houghton Stakes, use of the Members’ lawn marquee, and a trade stand within the Members’ Courtyard. Supported by the Department of Trade and Industry, the mission objective is in line with the SAEquine Trade Council’s strategy of promoting the South African horseracing industry to foreign markets in conjunction with the
development of reliable export protocols.

Summerhill will send 2 representatives: Mick Goss and Katrina Partridge
